Internship hotel – Frequently asked questions

You are aged between 18 and 32 years and you are studying or realising an apprenticeship and you have to complete a compulsory internship if you want to do your internship in Spain. Also, you have a European Nationality. Furthermore, you speak English. Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage for an internship in Spain. You have to take out an accident-, third party- and health insurance for your stay abroad.
Internships which last between 3 to 6 months are preferrable.
Hotels prefer long-term periods. s-w-e-p is, however, able to arrange internships shorter than 3 months.
Application
You should apply as soon as possible. That guarantees you the best placement position. Your application should coincide with a lead time of at least 2 to 3 months before your placement starts. Of course, s-w-e-p does its best to arrange placements on short notice as well. Just send us your CV in English or Spanish with your photo via e-mail.
Your flights
You should book your flights after you received your hotel placement agreement. Here on the island of Tenerife – are two airports. Most international flights arrive or take off from the Tenerife South Airport – called Reina Sofia. On the other islands are only one airport.
