Paid internship Spain – Administration:
This paid internship abroad can be scheduled for a period of 3 to 6 months. In general, your tasks are supporting the team of the Administration Department in conducting daily tasks. Your duties include accounting, budget control of individual departments, checking invoices, placing and filing them, working with an accounting programme, carrying out general secretarial tasks, daily correspondence in Spanish and drawing up statistics. Therefore, your daily workload will take place on the computer and correspondence is conducted mainly in Spanish. Furthermore, you will be handling external relations to suppliers: coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and ordering products and services.
Moreover, you will work 40 hours per week with two days off. Besides, accommodation and meals are provided by the hotel for free and you get €150 pocket money per month.
Firstly, you are studying towards a degree in Tourism, Event/Hotel Management, Business Management or something similar and are planning an internship in the hotel industry. Likewise, if you decide to do an internship in the Administration Department, you should enjoy computer work, be very communicative, flexible, motivated, reliable and a team player. Also, you should be able to work independently, you should be service and customer oriented, have good awareness of costs and be good at organising. Further, you will need to have a neat appearance, good manners, a friendly persona and be convincing with your performance. Likewise, you should enjoy conversing with other people and be open-minded to new things. Overall, you need to have a good knowledge of English and Spanish.
